Pupa Description

The chrysalis is approximately 3 cm (1.2 in) long. It is mottled brown and looks like a dry leaf.

Adults Description

Distinguished from similar species by the two silvery spots in the forewing cell and and the triangular shape of the hindwing; few silver spots on hindwing underside.

Habits Description

Occurs from sea level to 1.400 m in all open areas, Often found in the presence of D. juno and Dione moneta, which it resembles in appearance and habits.
