Pupa Stage

Approximately 10 days.

Pupa Description

As in Siproeta epaphus but with fewer black spots a longer, recurved cremaster.

Adults Description

Pale green upperside with broad brown margins; rusty brown and marking on underside.

Habits Description

Occurs commonly from sea level to 1,400 m, in a variety of habitat types but commonest in open second growth. Frequently seen in open areas visiting flowers, dung, carrion, or rotting fruits, and a familiar visitor to domestic gardens.
